Firstly, paying full price is something that too many of us do and I'm sure you'll agree. Getting money off a big (or little) purchase feels great - like you're winning the shopping 'price wars', so avoid paying full price on all your online shopping trips, that's an order (with money off I'm hoping!)
We pay full price for simple convenience more than anything else, however there are many simple things you can do (and none of them underhand tricks or un-ethical methods) without spending too much valuable time doing them.
If you're less prepared to spend money like it's going out of fashion and don't mind paying full price every time, then save time and quit reading right now - this is for the rest of us that want discounts and money off that damned RRP...
Cheaper Prices AND Money Back? How Very Rewarding
Suppliers dictate prices and there are so many retailers, online and high street, that try to cut prices and discount items to make us feel like we're getting a decent discount - it's all in the mind really - the shop slaps a sale sticker on and we instantly feel like we've 'saved' money, but did you know that online shop was selling it at an even cheaper price, or that you could get money back every time you shopped online? You would be surprised.
Whether it's discount prices on health, travel or shopping offers you want then you can find discount offers everywhere, just take time to search a couple of sites or use cashback sites, shopbots, or even Ebay!
Getting Cash Back
A 'cashback' site is setup to a) find an online shop quickly and b) give you money back when you spend (surprisingly!).
Yes they use adverts to build revenue, and prices aren't necessarily cheaper, but you get some of the sites profits back as a way to attract you to the site and get money off your purchases - you click through an advertiser and buy something, they will repay you in cash or loyalty points which you can convert to vouchers to spend in your favourite store.
A couple of examples of cashback sites are:
PigsBack - Earn 'Piggypoints' each time you shop through PigsBack. A refreshingly lively site thats easy to use and promises 'no junk mail'. 100 points = £1 to spend online.
TrolleyCash - Earn up to 50% cash back on purchases made through the site and find out about discount codes too. Cash back is based on percentage of your purchase, details on the site.
There are many more to be found but this was just a quick example of a couple of good quality UK cash back shopping sites* that we like, <-- click there to view more recommended sites and go with the one you are happiest with - some payout when your account reaches as little as £10.
Happy Shopping!
